Get to know me--

Q: What kind of book will always make you cancel your plans?

A:  Give me relatable characters and hilarious banter--I'm hooked. I also love a good psychological thriller.

Q: If you could inherit any kind of charming small business in another country, what would it be?

A: Obvs it's a bookshop! Edinburgh is my favorite, but I could be talked into a shop in a village hill town in Tuscany. Radicofani or San Casciano dei Bagni would do!

Q: What’s your ideal writing fuel?

A: Coffee and starvation. I'm kidding! But when I'm in flow I really do have to force myself to stop. Actually, I'm still in my pajamas with my teeth unbrushed and it's 12:11 p.m., if that tells you anything.

Q: What do you hope readers feel when they finish your book?

A: I hope readers feel inspired to tackle their defense mechanisms and their need for healthy boundaries head on, with grace and kindness. We are all messy humans and we're going to screw up, but the ability to not dig in your heels and say "it's just how I am" is beautiful and should be cultivated.  Okay, I'm done!
